PROPEL is a six-month startup acceleration program for prototype development from Fraunhofer TechBridge (a program of Fraunhofer CSE) and Greentown Labs (Boston), funded by Shell GameChanger. With the vision of a smarter, interconnected, resource-efficient world, PROPEL is seeking complementary innovations in self-powered Wireless Sensor-Actuator Networks (WSANs). During the program, startups will refine their prototypes toward an integrated solution for self-powered WSANs, obtain customer feedback, and fine-tune their business models. Selected startups will also receive incubation and prototyping space at Greentown Labs, technical guidance from Fraunhofer TechBridge, exposure to industry strategic partner and investor group mentors, and up to $10,000 in non-dilutive funds.
