The Science Angel Forum is a new event where International investors will structure their cooperation with university startups. The first edition will take place in The Netherlands and will take start in the Amsterdam Science Park, followed by a dinner in the inspiring Art Deco atmosphere of Café Americain. The next day will be fully focused on new interactions and will take place in the Noviotech Campus in Nijmegen, the oldest city of the Netherlands. The Science Angel Forum is a joint venture of the Technopolicy Network with Business Angels Europe Club and Business Angels Netwerken Nederland.

The Science Angel Forum starts with a debate between the university community and the investors’ community, followed by pitches of “science based startups”, looking for 2nd round investments. Parallel to this representatives of universities, regional development agencies and investors will discuss a draft “Science Angel memorandum” on how to improve the sustainability of science based start ups.
